Mandarin Oriental Landmark Hotel Hong Kong executive chef Richard Ekkebus earned two Michelin stars for his in-house restaurant, Amber. He also oversaw the kitchens at Mauritius’ Royal Palm Hotel and Sandy Lane in Barbados.
Ann Getty is a San Francisco-based furniture and interiors designer. In 2003, she launched the Ann Getty House collection, a series of original pieces and authentic reproductions inspired by the Ann and Gordon Getty Collection and her extensive travels throughout the world.
After apprenticing at the Ritz in Paris, Venezuelan-American chef Lorena Garcia opened Food Café and Elements Tierra in Miami’s Design District. She has been featured on numerous television competitions and is the author of Lorena Garcia’s New Latin Classics.
Lauded as “the very best host in the world” by The Wall Street Journal, Alex Hitz is known for his splendid private events combining Southern charm with continental élan. Author of My Beverly Hills Kitchen, he writes regularly for House Beautiful and Town & Country.
Fern Mallis is the founder of New York Fashion Week and was the executive director of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. A founding board member of the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS, she now leads her own international fashion and design consultancy.
Eduardo Marcos is the president of American Airlines Vacations, a division of American Airlines. With 16 years of experience in the airline industry, he currently oversees the team responsible for all aspects of the AA Vacations business, including sales, technology, customer service, product and partnerships.
Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier has created more than 40 acclaimed structures throughout the world, including the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles’ Getty Center and the Atheneum in New Harmony, Indiana.
Richard Quest is CNN’s international business correspondent and host of Quest Means Business. He also hosts CNN Business Traveller, which reports on how to make the most of doing business on the road, and Quest Express, broadcast from the New York Stock Exchange.
British chef Mark Sargeant has won many Michelin stars during his career, especially under Gordon Ramsay at Aubergine and Claridge’s, where he was awarded Chef of the Year. He has designed a menu for American Airlines first-class passengers travelling from London to the U.S.
California native Michael S. Smith acted as designer for the Obamas, and in 2010 was appointed to the Committee for the Preservation of The White House. He was named Designer of the Year by Elle Decor and is regularly on Architectural Digest’s AD 100 list.
